Tiffany and Jordan’s wedding – The Landing at Dockside

Tiffany and Jordan collected their wedding album this week and just loved it! I remember Tiffany exclaiming “awesome” a number of times as they turned the pages.

Seeing your wedding album produced into a high quality book for the first time is an exciting moment for you and the studio team. While you view all of your images, choose your favorites and see our album design before it goes into production there is nothing like holding and sharing your moments in a printed album. For us in the studio seeing your enjoyment in your wedding album is one of our greatest rewards. Its why we do what we do. Like a sporting team has a grand final this is our grand final. We have got to know our wedding couples well in the many months leading up to their wedding. We have worked an average of 80 hours for each of our couples to create a customised experience. All of what we do is integral exceeding your expectations, from the first meeting, engagement photography, final planning, wedding photography, customising our designs to delivery your wedding photography package.

Tiffany is originally from Canada and had all her family with her for her wedding day. The bridal preparations where great fun with lots of emotion and lots of family and friends to help the wedding day start off smoothly. I must also thank the father of the bride for holding the wedding dress while balancing on top of an esky while I created my floating wedding dress shot (image posted below). Also thanks for the Canadian pin and carabiner with compass, I keep them in my camera bag. Tiffany’s wedding dress was brought in from Canada and maybe available soon here in Australia. If you would like more details just leave a comment below.

Tiffany and Jordan’s wedding ceremony and reception where at The Landing at Dockside by the Brisbane River. Wedding venues along the river are some of my favorite Brisbane wedding photography locations. They had a beautiful sunny day for the outdoor ceremony and everyone at The Landing helped to make their wedding day special. While there are so many great photography locations at The Landing we also took advantage of the stretched Hummer limousine and went over to the Brisbane Powerhouse for photos before their reception. Tiffany’s family had brought some Canadian beer out to Australia so we featured some of this in the photos at the Powerhouse. It’s these little details of a wedding that help so much to put a story to the day.

Thank you so much Tiffany and Jordan for letting us be apart of your wedding day, it’s truly an honour.

Sam and Brendan’s wedding – Hillstone St Lucia

Brisbane wedding photography the weekend after the flood toke on another dimension. One of respect for what people had gone through and the joy and celebration of love evident in everyone that day.

For Sam and Brendan this was such a happy day. Even tho Brisbane was in flood clean up, family and friends were all in good spirits and ready to celebrate the couple’s wedding. The ceremony was held at Brisbane Boys Grammar and then photos were just across the road in Roma St Gardens. The gardens hold special meaning to Sam and Brendan as it is the place where Brendan proposed to Sam. The most wonderful staff at Hillstone St Lucia helped make Sam and Brendan’s reception wishes come true. Thank you to everyone who helped our Brisbane wedding photographers Paul and Stephen on the day and we hope we brought an extra happiness to Sam and Brendan’s wedding photography experience.

Sandra and Phil’s wedding – Broadway Chapel

A few days before the wedding we attended Sandra and Phil’s wedding rehearsal at Broadway Chapel to meet everyone before the big day. We find this a great time to break the ice and get everyone relaxed for some lovely natural wedding photos. The weather was a little of a worry for Sandra but she was very pleased to hear we had organised a beautiful old building in Brisbane city for them to relax and enjoy some wedding photos with their bridal party. Their wedding day was so wonderful, a definite joy for these Brisbane wedding photographers.

Lisa and Adrian wedding – Newfarm Park Rotunda

What a pleasure it was to capture such natural images of Lisa and Adrian on their wedding day. As a Brisbane wedding photographer the Newfarm park area offers so many beautiful and varied photographic backdrops. In such a small area we can add many different elements to your wedding photos, the old rotunda, the gardens, the Brisbane river and the old surrounds of the Brisbane Powerhouse.

Lisa held back tears of joy at home with the support of Mum. The sun was shining when Lisa arrived at the New Farm park rotunda to be with Adrian. After the ceremony they cut the cake together and served it with champagne to celebrate with family and friends. After some family wedding photos we walked to the Brisbane Powerhouse for them to share some beautiful moments together. Some more beautiful images in town and then arrived for their reception at Siggi’s.

Jillian and Anthony wedding

Jillian and Anthony booked out the entire resturant at Bulimba and had a cocktail style wedding reception. This is just one of many great shots we got by the Brisbane river just at the end of Oxford St as the sun went down.
