One way we love to get to know our wedding couples better is by taking them out on an engagement shoot. And the perfect place to stroll, chat, and take lovely pictures is at the Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. We went there with Elizabeth and Declan, walking along the pathways chatting, and stopping by different gardens arranged in thematic and geographical displays to take photos. The pair played by the creek beds and ponds, snuggling up to each other.
Engagement photography is a great way of seeing some beautiful photographs of just the two of you, before the hustle and bustle of your wedding day. We find that couples that have had one are so much more relaxed with us taking their photo on their wedding day. Your wedding day will feel like it goes by so quickly. In an engagement shoot, there’s no rush. With no time limits and no schedule to adhere to you can just relax and enjoy your photography. And you get the benefit of seeing what your photoshoot will be like on your big day. Most of our clients are not models, so would otherwise have no idea what to expect!
