Gillian and Jonathan met for the very first time at Southbank Parklands so we couldn’t think of a better location to shoot their engagement portraits. We love to listen to your story, so if you do have a special spot you would like to incorporate into your shoot let us know. What’s great about using a location that has a personal meaning or a memory attached to it is that this emotion will shine through in the photographs. In fact it was by this very tree pictured in the album below that Gillian and Jonathan first laid eyes on each other. Here we’ve captured that loving memory so that they can not only look back on it fondly, but also share it with their children in years to come. “Look son, that’s where mummy and daddy first met.”
There are so many great places to shoot along the Southbank parklands promenade that runs along the Brisbane River.
