Kathryn and Tim met at a mutual friend’s wedding, after being cleverly seated next to each by the bride and groom. Tim organised a picnic to propose to Kathryn after a busy weekend of house shopping. He popped the question to a stunned Kathryn with a beautiful solitaire.
The couple chose Cloudland to house their 150+ guests for their engagement party. The venue has such elaborate and unique features in its interior, we just had to steal the couple away for a few photos in front of the waterfall, and under the chandeliers.
Dressed to the nine’s in a lovely Zimmerman number, Kathryn truly was the belle of the ball. Tim, her handsome beau, in a blue suit and checked green shirt. Champagne flowed, as the couple mingled with friends and family.
Delicious cupcakes were made by a family friend for the event, and the lolly bar contained old school favourites that any kid growing up in the 90’s would remember fondly. The bride-to-be’s snack of choice? Can’t beat a packet of Samboy Atomic Tomato chips!
The party must have been really pumping, as the pair realised after seeing their photos that they had a couple who gatecrashed their party! In true wedding crashes style the gatecrashers capitalised on the couple’s generous bar tab and even posed for a photo!
Kath and Tim partied on into the wee hours of the morning with family and friends. No doubt their wedding next March in Fiji will be just as large.
