Tiffany and Jordan jumped at the chance to meet in the evening to capture their portraits by the Brisbane River with the city lights a glow. We started our engagement photography up at Kangaroo Point Cliffs and then headed over the Story Bridge to walk along the north bank of the Brisbane River. We always look for the best in planning your portraits. This involves getting a feel for who you are, what you like to do and the best time that suits you.

There was some light rain which added a huge amount of mood and atmosphere to the backdrop of their portraits. I had brought an umbrella for Tiffany and Jordan to share if they needed during their engagement photography session. The umbrella I use has a wooden shaft so that we don’t get bright reflections that you can with the chrome type. It’s focusing on little details like this that can make all the difference. You’ll see some of these portraits below. The wet ground gave us some great reflections to be also creative with.

As we walked down to Custom House which is one of Brisbane’s heritage icons we looked for the best light and backdrops to their portraits.

Within a few days we had enhanced their images for viewing. Tiffany and Jordan choose their favorite images for us to produce a portrait album for them.

Here are just a few of their images.
