The girls got ready at Adriana’s family home as Adriana’s Mother arranged all the bouquets. Adriana, a classic beauty, looked heavenly in white lace gown and long veil. Opting for navy for her bridesmaids and grey three piece suits for the boys, the pair were married at Gregory Terrace, where Brad attended high school. It was a beautiful, traditional church ceremony. Afterwards, we took family and group photos in the school yard, set amoung old buildings and beautiful textured walls.

Next, we headed off to Roma Street Parklands for the couple’s photo shoot. The water sprinklers were going which created a beautiful mist. A school of ducks even waddled past as the bridal party were posing for photos. We then headed down to the path to the pond, where an onlooker was dared by his mate to jump into the pond. This unexpected event cracked us all up.

Time flies when your having fun and soon it was time to head to the reception at Hillstone, St Lucia. What I really loved about this reception was that the entire bridal party, not just the bride and groom, went around the room and spoke to all the guests at their tables. Sometimes as a wedding guest you can feel like just ‘one of the crowd’. You don’t get to spend too much time with your friend or family member that is getting married because there are just too many people for them to talk to, and you don’t want to monopolize their time. So when the bridesmaids and groomsmen went around to each table to chat to the guests, I thought this was a lovely effort at making all their guests feel included.
