The celebration of Holly and Jodan’s marriage started on a beautiful spring day at St John’s Cathedral on Ann St, Brisbane.  In keeping with the theme of ivory and aubergine, the bride walked down the aisle in a dress from Gowns of Elegance in Chermside.   The couple’s wedding party consisted of friends from school and family members.  The groom payed a special tribute to a dearly missed friend, by adding his late friend’s photo to his cufflinks.  The best part of the day for the shy and nervous couple was when Jordan grabbed Holly’s hand as she greeted him at the altar; it was a comforting touch that said “everything will be alright”.

After the nuptials, the couple headed straight to Victoria Park for their reception in vintage cars by Kenz classics.  Holly and Jordan chose to compliment the big chandeliers in the reception room with tea light candles on the tables as decorations – a beautifully minimalist approach. For their first dance as husband and wife, Holly and Jordan danced to John Legend’s ‘Stay With You’ and their guests enjoyed a 4 tier cake by Jude’s Cakery.  The couple chose chocolate-mud, red velvet, caramel-mud, and vanilla choc marble tiers.  Jordan didn’t really want to do the garter toss but with a bit of liquid courage he ended up doing it, and more!  Turning a simple garter toss into a bit of a lap dance for Holly.

The couple chose a 10 day cruise from Sydney to New Caledonia for their honeymoon.
