Just under 100 family and friends joined Jennifer and Richard at Braeside Chapel, on the Gold Coast, in celebrating their marriage after a 7 year engagement. The charming, white chapel is set amoungst beautifully manicured gardens, and overlooks a tree lined brook.
Jennifer chose gold glitter Miu Miu heels, ivory pants by Adam Lippes, and a custom made ivory lace top to walk down the aisle in, accompanied by her youngest son. Jennifer’s daughter (and bridesmaid), Erin, wore a raspberry Isabel Marant number, paired with nude Stuart Weitzman heels.
Richard’s eldest son, Andrew, was groomsman, and the pair wore suits from Hugo Boss. A touching moment brought tears to the eyes when Richard’s youngest son, Chris, sent his well-wishes from overseas. After being posted with the army, just a week before the nuptials, Chris recorded a personalised version of ‘Hallelujah’ for the couple to be played during the ceremony as a surprise.
Guests enjoyed canapes and free flowing Vueve Cliquot as we took family photos. Afterwards we all headed in to the self-catered marquee for the reception for speeches, mains, dessert and of course… more wine!.
The team at Brisbane Market Flowers were fantastic in fulfilling the last minute order for both bouquets and table arrangements, and the prop hire company Prop It Pretty supplied all of the beautiful table decorations.
Years of jive lessons prepared Jennifer and Richard to rock it out on the dance floor, with the rest of the guests enthusiastically joining in on the fun.
