Renae and Jason were married at Kangaroo Point. Renae along with her bridesmaids, mother, father and daughter, got ready at The Meriton Serviced Apartments in the heart of Brisbane city. You could feel the love and happiness in the room and we think it shines through the photos in their wedding preparation photography. Just a stone throw away Jason and his groomsmen were suiting up at The Stamford Plaza. Renae and Jason chose a colour theme of black, grey,white and yellow to decorate their wedding day. The boys donned grey suits with black shirts and touches of yellow in their ties and cuff links. The bride wore a strapless white gown from Hills in Hollywood with a beautiful bouquet of yellow and white roses from The Lush Lily at Chermside, and her bridesmaids were dressed in floor length grey gowns.
The ceremony was held overlooking the Brisbane River and the reception was conveniently located nearby at Riverlife’s Sunset Marquee. And the venue is set against one of the most fantastic backdrops in the city- The Brisbane River.
We took the couple’s wedding photography at the base of the cliffs and a few locations along The Brisbane River boardwalk. Renee and Jason had absolutely perfect weather for their wedding day, which turned out brilliantly in their photography. We love the way the light shines through the trees in this photograph, enhancing the romanticism of the moment. The groomsmen were funny, mimicking Renae and Jason posing for their wedding photography. We enjoyed their sense of humour and we also love to have fun out on the wedding photography shoots, so we just had to capture the groomsmen’s special moments and share them. The couple’s wedding guests enjoyed a buffet dinner and a wedding cake made by Cakes by Judy C for dessert. Guests danced into the evening celebrating Renae and Jason’s nuptials.
